An experienced and approachable team of professionals.
The practice was formed over 20 years ago by Greg Mason and has been trading as Auckland Chartered Accountants for over 10 years. Greg’s son Callum joined in 2012 and is a Partner at the firm.
We are currently a team of 4 qualified staff.
The objective of our practice is to provide our clients with a personalised service with the aim of adding value to their businesses.

Greg was raised in Northland and attended Whangarei Boys’ High School before qualifying from Auckland University in 1973 with a BCom and as a Chartered Accountant in 1975.
During his career he has worked in both Chartered accountancy and in the commercial sector, including a financial and management role in an international manufacturing company. In 1986 he started Palmas Ltd to focus on accounting services which in 2007 began trading as Auckland Chartered Accountants. Greg has worked with clients in a range of industries and provides management accounting services when required which is an area of special interest to him.

Callum joined the team in 2012 and was made Director in 2020. He is a Chartered Accountant with a Accountancy degree from Massey University.
Callum has worked in various roles for the firm over the years and has a strong interest in the area of taxation, property, and business advisory.
Outside of work Callum enjoys skiing, motorcycling and fishing.
